REPTON ENTERPRISE
FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY
Easily accessible in the heart of England and the Midlands, Repton and Repton Prep offers stunning and picture-perfect locations for both filming and photography; the splendid array of both historical and modern offers variety to suit all needs. Repton School’s cinematic claim to fame was first cemented as the location of the 1939 Oscar-winning film Goodbye Mr. Chips.
The senior school founded in 1557, sits on the site of a 7th-century Anglo-Saxon Benedictine abbey and latterly a 12th-century Augustinian priory. It retains several of its impressive and striking original buildings as well as expansive and excellently maintained grounds. Repton Prep, set in 55 acres of lush green fields and woodland, is located in a magnificent Georgian Mansion and beautifully manicured gardens.
With spacious on-site parking and excellent hospitality facilities, both sites offer the perfect package for productions of all scales.
Most recently both sites have hosted large-scale Bollywood features, including Cuttputlli, starring Akshay Kumar, filmed by Pooja Entertainment and Ram, starring Arjun Rampal, produced by Nikki Bhagnani.
