JOINING REPTON

The first step of entry to Repton is to decide upon the entry point that is right for you and your family. Our Admissions Manager can provide you with help and guidance if needed. Entry to Repton Prep is from 3 to 13 years old, with places available all year round for day and boarding pupils.

ENTRY points

11+ all pre 13+ applicants begin their journey at Repton Prep where you will experience a seamless transition to Repton School in Year 9 (13+ entry)
13+ (B Block / Year 9)
14+ (A Block / Year 10)
16+ (Sixth Form / Year 12)

DAY PUPILS
or BOARDING

Repton’s thriving boarding culture adds to the enriching experience that a Repton education offers. Our pupils benefit from immersing themselves in school life and this empowers them to join the boarding community with a positive attitude and an eagerness to contribute to the rich and productive timetable.

Boarders make up 70% of our community however Day pupils are fully integrated into Repton’s Houses and the boarding ethos. Many of our Day pupils choose to stay at school later than they are required to participate in our many clubs and societies. Our weekend provision also caters to our Day pupils, who are welcome to join Sunday trips and Chapel.

There is a bus service available to Day pupils and this can be requested through emailing admissions.
