Welcoming Gareth to the Repton community, Headmaster Mark Semmence said: "We are delighted to appoint Gareth as Director of Sport. His extensive experience in both professional and school sport makes him ideally placed to lead our sporting provision, ensuring that Repton continues to provide outstanding opportunities for all pupils. Sport at Repton is built on ambition, inclusivity, and excellence, and I have no doubt that Gareth will continue to drive these values forward.

Reflecting on his appointment, Gareth James said: "I am extremely excited about joining the thriving community at Repton School and look forward to contributing to the continued sporting success on and off the pitch."
