OUTSTANDING ABRSM RESULTS AT REPTON SCHOOL
We are thrilled to announce an extraordinary set of results from the recent ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) examinations, showcasing the dedication and talent of our pupils. The ABRSM is a globally recognised standard for musical achievement, offering graded exams that rigorously test technical skill, musicality, and performance ability. These examinations are a true benchmark of excellence, with distinctions being awarded to only the very best performances.
Casper C achieved a prestigious Distinction in his ARSM in Music Performance, scoring an incredible 47 out of 50. This qualification is a post-Grade 8 award that demands an exceptional level of technical skill and artistry, and Casper’s result places him among the most accomplished young musicians in the country.
Equally remarkable is Iyo K who secured an astonishing 146/150 Distinction in her Grade 8 Violin examination. This near-perfect score reflects Iyo’s extraordinary dedication to her craft. Such a result is a testament to her hard work and the outstanding support provided by her teachers.
In total, our pupils achieved seven distinctions in this round of examinations, alongside many merits and passes across a variety of instruments, from piano and violin to cornet and double bass. Each of these results reflects the talent of our pupils and the strength of Repton’s music programme, inspiring young musicians to reach their full potential.
