REPTON SCHOOL'S PUPILS ARE CELEBRATING THEIR GCSE RESULTS AFTER THREE YEARS OF HARD WORK AND DEDICATION

While the national grade proportions were lowered, Repton School has bucked the trend and improved year-on-year results. This reflects the professionalism and dedication of teaching staff, and the hard work and ambition of our pupils.

Just under 60% of entries were awarded grades 7 to 9 (A* to A) with almost a quarter of grades being graded as a 9. We are extremely proud of all of those who sat their GCSE exams this year. A significant number of our pupils gained more than seven 9’s and this highlights the academic aspiration that pervades Repton School. Worthy of particular congratulations is Fisayo Atere who attained thirteen grade 9’s; a considerable achievement.

Our pupils have achieved academic excellence while at the same time balancing a variety of cocurricular commitments, including music, drama, sport or within the wider community. Indeed, many have gained representative sporting honours at the highest level while studying. We are proud of all that they have accomplished.
