The School Sport magazine rankings are based purely on performance, compiling results from over 120 national competitions across 20 different sports. With a track record of producing elite athletes and fostering a culture of dedication and teamwork, Repton’s success in sport is unrivalled among boarding schools. Our sustained dominance in cricket, hockey, and swimming has been instrumental in securing our top-three finish once again.
Our Sporting Success
Repton’s cricket programme continues to develop world-class players, with both boys' and girls' teams achieving national recognition. Our hockey teams remain among the strongest in the country, frequently claiming national titles and producing players for England and GB squads. In swimming, our athletes consistently perform at the highest levels, competing and succeeding in top-tier national events. Repton's tennis programme has also made significant strides, ranking third in the LTA National Finals, showcasing the school's ability to compete at the highest levels. In football, both the boys’ and girls’ 1st XI and U15 teams progressed to the semi-finals of the ISFA Cup, further demonstrating Repton’s all-round sporting prowess.
